Report: Martin Bravo Faces Steven Peterson At UFC Fight Night Mexico City
A featherweight division attraction has been added to UFC Fight Night Mexico City according to Milenio as Martin Bravo is going to be in action against Steven Peterson.
Bravo (11-2-0) enters the contest while in the midst of a two fight losing streak, dropping bouts to the duo of Humberto Bandenay and Alex Caceres. Bravo is also going to be back in action for the first time in a year, as his last bout took place in July of 2018. Bravo has suffered just two losses as a professional MMA fighter and both of those defeats came during UFC competition.
Peterson (17-9-0) has won just one of four fights under the UFC banner, with that lone win coming against Matt Bessette at the UFC Ultimate Fighter 27 Finale. Peterson also competed on Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series Episode 7, suffering a split decision loss to Benito Lopez. Peterson has suffered a total of nine losses as a professional MMA fighter and eight of them came by way of decision.
UFC Fight Night Mexico City takes place on Saturday, September 21 from the Arena Ciudad de Mexico in Mexico City, Mexico with Yair Rodriguez and Jeremy Stephens headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which streams live on ESPN+.
