UFC Champion Daniel Cormier Explains How He’d Book Brock Lesnar In WWE
By Sean Ross Sapp
UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Daniel Cormier embraces pro wrestling with open arms. After his UFC 200 victory over Anderson Silva, Cormier was asked to put his booking hat on, as well.
Cormier spoke to media after the fight, and offered up his opinions on how WWE should book Brock Lesnar. Lesnar is scheduled to take on Randy Orton at WWE Summerslam in August, but after Lesnar’s fairly one-sided victory over Mark Hunt at UFC 200, Cormier thinks WWE should push Lesnar to the moon.
“I think I’d make him more unbeatable. In WWE they call him the ‘conqueror’, the ‘beast incarnate’, you know, he can’t be beat. I’d make him more unstoppable now, because he just did something that I’m not sure anyone else over there can do. He came in and beat a top ten heavyweight, so you just make him more unstoppable. I say to hell with Randy Orton, and throw the belt on him again, because it legitimizes it because of what he did tonight,” Cormier said in a video from Live Audio Wrestling.

Cormier’s love for pro wrestling is well known. When breaking down fights during his second job as an analyst for FOX, he often draws comparisons between MMA and pro wrestling. There’s also the popular video that circulated following WrestleMania 31, which showed Cormier overjoyed when Seth Rollins captured Brock Lesnar’s WWE World Heavyweight Championship.
