Goldberg Talks Falling On His Face On RAW
Goldberg's return to WWE has given Survivor Series a big match with Brock Lesnar, but it also has created a bizarre moment in his second RAW appearance in this latest run.
In a segment at the start of the October 31 episode of RAW, Goldberg slipped in the ring trying to get in a physical altercation with Rusev. The former WCW champion eventually hit a Jackhammer on Rusev and also hit a spear on Paul Heyman, who was in the ring as well on behalf of Lesnar. WWE later edited the segment on subsequent replays and their official Youtube account to eliminate the gaffe from the former Atlanta Falcon.
Goldberg did a live Facebook Q&A with ESPN this week to promote his upcoming match with Brock Lesnar at Survivor Series this month.
"I don't care man, with social media everyone sees that stuff," Goldberg said. "Here's the thing, its been 12 years bro. It's literally the second time I've stepped inside the ring, it's no excuse, it happens and it is what it is. At the end of the day it made it look like more of a real fight and all you guys out there on social media you can kiss my butt, because there's nothing you can say to make me feel any worse than I'm making myself feel."
Survivor Series will take place on November 20 in Toronto. This will be Golberg's first WWE match since his WrestleMania 20 match against Brock Lesnar, where Goldberg won the match that had Stone Cold Steve Austin as the special guest referee.
