Hey Fight Fans, we hope you enjoyed Smackdown! Live and are ready for a special edition of 205 Live headlined by Drew Gulak and Isaiah Scott.
-We open the show with a video package recapping the events that conspired between the 205 Live general manager Drake Maverick and Mike Kanellis. Drake then shows up on the screen and says that Mike and Drake will fight next week and that it will be an unsanctioned fight.
Lucha House Party (Kalisto & Gran Metalik) vs Humberto Carrillo & Raul Mendoza
Raul and Kalisto start the match off for their respective teams, exchanging head locks and flips before landing on their feet when they each go for huricanrranas. They exchange arm drags and mirror dropkicks before going toe to toe and Humberto Gran comes in, Gran putting Humberto in a headlock before Humberto applies one of his own and they do flips of their own before Humberto lands on his feet when Gran hits a monkey flip. Kalisto hits a springboard diving knee drop before Gran hits a diving knee drop of his own for a quick two count. LHP isolate Humberto in their half of the ring before he gets the tag to Raul after several minutes and they hit Kalisto with a wheel barrow slam for a near fall. Gran hits an assisted dropkick for a two count before he starts focusing on the arm of Humberto and a triangle missile dropkick for a near fall.
Humberto comes back with a high angle springboard cross body before Raul and Kalisto come in and Raul hits a rope walk springboard dropkick for a near fall. Kalisto and Raul each hit roundhouse kicks for a near fall before Gran gets a blind tag and superkicks Raul before Humberto gets the tag and Gran hits him with an enzuigiri. Gran then hits a frankensteiner for a near fall that Raul breaks up before he takes out Kalisto at ringside and Humberto hits the Arabian Press for the pin and the win.
Winner: Humberto Carrillo and Raul Mendoza defeat the Lucha House Party via pinfall when Humberto pins Gran Metalik with an Arabian press.
-The Singhs cut a promo backstage about Akira Tozawa and The Brian Kendrick before challenging them to a match next week.
-We get a video package for Isaiah Scott ahead of his match against Drew Gulak in our main event.
Oney Lorcan vs Local Talent
Oney immediately drops his opponent and hits him with a running back elbow in the corner into a running uppercut and a half hatch suplex for the pin and the win.
Winner: Oney Lorcan defeats a local performer via pinfall with a half hatch suplex.
-Drew Gulak cuts a promo backstage before his match against Isaiah Scott where he talks about his past in NXT.
Drew Gulak vs Isaiah Scott
Drew immediately hits a running dropkick and takes Scott down with a side headlock takeover before they grapple on the mat and Drew shoves Scott out of the ring. Scott takes his time getting back into the ring and takes Drew down before hitting a huricanrrana into a dropkick that sends Drew out of the ring. Drew gets back in the ring and tosses Scott out of the ring, over the top rope, but he lands on his feet before hitting a standing cartwheel moonsault for a quick one count. Scott nearly knocks Drew out with a right hand for a near fall before he takes Drew down and hits a knee drop for a quick two count. Drew focuses on the now injured wrist of Scott and sends him into the barricade before powerbombing him into the ring post, Drew tossing him back into the ring for a near fall.
Drew locks in a submission before Scott gets free and Drew rocks him with a back elbow before hitting a diving lariat for a near fall, following up with a variation of a camel clutch before setting Scott on the top turnbuckle. Scott counters a powerbomb into a jawbreaker and a jumping uppercut into a diving uppercut for a near fall before hitting a running, jumping stomp to the side of Drew’s head for a near fall. Drew locks in the Gulock before Scott gets his foot under the bottom rope for the break and drops Drew and drapes him in the ropes before hitting a running stomp off of the apron. Back in the ring Scott hits a diving stomp for a near fall before Drew gets a near fall off of a sunset flip and Scott locks in an armbar before Drew goes back to the injured fingers of Scott to break the hold. Drew then hits a high angle suplex into a cyclone neckbreaker for the pin and the win.
Winner: Drew Gulak defeats Isaiah Scott via pinfall with a cyclone neckbreaker.
