Rey Vargas vs. Tomoki Kameda Weigh-in Results
Rey Vargas and Tomoki Kameda have successfully made weight for their WBC super bantamweight title fight.
The two boxers weighed exactly at 121.4 lbs for their world title bout, set to headline a Golden Boy Promotions card to be streamed on DAZN. This will be Vargas’ fifth title defense since winning the belt all the way back in 2017. Kameda, on the other hand, will be getting his shot at the full world title after winning the interim belt last November at Korakuen Hall in Tokyo.
Also on the card are rising prospects Joet Gonzalez, Diego De La Hoya and Eduardo Hernandez, competing in separate bouts and a win in their respective fights, any of those fighters could be on the cusp of fighting for a world title shot. Fightful has the official weights for the top fights on the July 13 Golden Boy on DAZN card.
