Sarah Kaufman Advances To PFL Playoffs, Zane Kamaka Expelled From PFL Season 2
Craziness went down at the weigh-ins for PFL Season 2, Event 4 as Sarah Kaufman was given a pass to the women’s lightweight division playoffs after opponent Roberta Samad missed weight for their bout by 0.6 pounds.
The PFL made the announcement via Twitter:

Kaufman also commented on the matter via Twitter:
PFL is very professional and it’s great to see how they deal with situations like this. I’m disappointed to be sitting out tomorrow, but the end game is the championships and my eyes are unwavering

While Kaufman will advance to the playoffs, another fighter in Zane Kamaka was expelled from PFL Season 2 for missing weight for a bout against Andre Fialho. Kamaka also missed weight for a bout against Ray Cooper III earlier in the season, which combined with the second weight miss, was cause to boot him from the promotion. Fialho will get three points for the Kamaka weigh-in miss, but a playoff spot is undetermined until the rest of the welterweight division bouts play out.

Tomorrow nights PFL event will move on with eight bouts, with the card being spread out through ESPN+ and ESPN 2.
