MLW Presenting First PPV On November 2nd Entitled ‘Saturday Night SuperFight’

MLW taking the next step in their brand expansion.

Court Bauer founded Major League Wrestling in 2002 and after a hiatus, MLW began running events again in 2017 and now on a monthly basis, they host live specials on beIN SPORTS and follow up those specials with television tapings. This weekend, MLW presents their Kings Of Colosseum event from Chicago, Illinois and ahead of that show, Sports Illustrated broke the news that MLW will be presenting their first pay-per-view on November 2nd at Cicero Stadium in Illinois.

The pay-per-view will be entitled ‘Saturday Night SuperFight’ and MLW founder Court Bauer revealed that all MLW Titles will be on the line at pay-per-view and it will be available to purchase for under $20.

“This is a chance for MLW to make a statement,” said Bauer. “We want to give value to our fans. That’s why we’re charging only $19.95.”

Saturday Night SuperFight will be available on all cable and dish carriers in the United States and Canada and MLW is in talks about expanding so that they can stream the event worldwide. Bauer made it clear that seeds will be planted for this event imminently and a match card will start to shape up this Summer.

“This year has been about expanding into live programming,” said Bauer. “The evolution of a promotion is to produce more live content, and another milestone for us is pay-per-view, and now, we’re going to get there with Saturday Night SuperFight on November 2. Watch carefully this summer,” said Bauer. “This card isn’t going to be thrown together in late October. All the seeds will be planted, and all of the championships will be on the line.”

Fightful will have coverage of MLW’s forthcoming Kings Of Colosseum event and it was announced today that Zenshi and Gringo Loco will go one-on-one at the event.
