Booker T: Matt Riddle Needs To Work On His Craft
Booker T sticks up for Goldberg.
Following WWE Super ShowDown, NXT superstar Matt Riddle was very critical of Goldberg’s performance, calling Goldberg, “the worst wrestler in the business.” Goldberg knocked himself out during his main event bout against The Undertaker and never regained his footing, leading to a scary Jackhammer spot and a botched Tombstone reversal prior to the finish.
Sticking up for his fellow WWE Hall of Famer, Booker T fired back at Matt Riddle on a recent episode of his Hall of Fame podcast.
“This is real talk. I was listening to Matt Riddle talk about Goldberg. I got a chance to watch Matt Riddle work. This guy needs A LOT of work. You talk about somebody that needs to work on their craft, this Matt Riddle; he needs to work on his craft. I wish Matt Riddle would come down to my school and get first-class one-on-one training. Before Matt Riddle starts talking about anybody, he needs to work on his game, very hard. Matt Riddle can say whatever he wants about me. But I was top five in the world. Matt Riddle, work on your game, kid.”
Riddle would later explain that he is not a fan of Goldberg because Goldberg hurts people in the ring. He also wants Goldberg to stop headbutting doors. Riddle would also comment on Booker’s statements.
