NJPW Southern Showdown News: Rocky Romero Challenging For British Cruiserweight Title, G.O.D., More
Two title matches added to NJPW’s Southern Showdown events.
New Japan Pro-Wrestling is heading down under for their Southern Showdown shows in Australia this weekend on June 29th and June 30th. The first of those two shows will take place in Melbourne and the company has added two championship matches to the June 29th card. Former IWGP U.S. Heavyweight Champion Juice Robinson will team with Australia’s own Mikey Nicholls to challenge the Guerrillas Of Destiny for their IWGP Tag Team Championships.
Also, fresh off of defending the RPW British Cruiserweight Championship against Ryusuke Taguchi on the Kizuna Road tour, El Phantasmo is putting the title on the line against Rocky Romero.
Both Southern Showdown events will be streamed live on FITE and here are the lineups for the June 29th and June 30th show[s] in Melbourne and Sydney:
