UFC Fight Pass To Stream Murphys Boxing Card On July 12
UFC and Murphys Boxing are teaming up once again for another boxing show being streamed on Fight Pass.
The next Murphys Boxing card that will be streamed on UFC Fight Pass will take place on July 12 in Stoneham, Massachusetts headlined by a 154-pound fight between Greg Vendetti and Michael Anderson for the vacant IBA title.
Since 2015, Vendetti has gone on to win 18 of his 19 fights, including a dominant win over former world title challenger Yoshihiro Kamegai in 2018, ultimately retiring the Japanese boxer. Vendetti’s lone loss was against junior middleweight contender Michel Soro last December, but has since then bounced back with a win over Alan Zavala on March 29.
Anderson has fought professionally since 2007 and sports a 17-2-1 record. Anderson is currently on a five-fight win streak, last competing this past December when he picked up a win over Juan Rodriguez by unanimous decision.
Also on the card are a pair of junior welterweight fights between once-beaten fighters Ray Moylette and Larry Fryers as well as a battle of undefeated fighters in 2016 Olympic boxer Luis Arcon Diaz and Niall O’Connor. Other fighters competing on the card include prospects Mike Ohan Jr., Carlos Hernandez, James Perella and Joe Farina.
The event is the latest to be streamed on UFC Fight Pass as part of a multi-year broadcast agreement between UFC and Murphys Boxing. The first event in the partnership took place on May 10 and had rising super featherweight contender Abraham Nova stop Mario Ezequiel Sayal in the second round.
