Mariah May Says Her Experience At Recent WWE U.K. Tryout Was Surreal

Mariah May had a great experience at the recent WWE U.K. tryouts.

Independent wrestler Mariah May has built up a following on social media and she has wrestled for PROGRESS Wrestling and provides updates on her wrestling training via her YouTube channel. Mariah had the opportunity to participate in the recent women’s tryouts at the WWE Performance Center in London. Mariah was interviewed by the ‘Enfield Independent’ about her experience at the tryouts and described it as surreal and added that she can not wait to find out what’s next for her in wrestling.

“These past few days have just been surreal. To be in that Performance Center and just having a chance to show the WWE what I have to offer is absolutely massive and I’m just so excited for whatever’s next. I’ve been watching wrestling ever since I was young and to now been given this opportunity in what has to be the most exciting period in professional wrestling ever, I just can’t wait to take my next step.” She said.

Joining Mariah at the women’s tryouts at the WWE Performance Center in London were the following names: Karen Glennon, Candy Floss, Bethany Jefferson, Sabrina Casiraghi, Heather Schofield, Valkyrie Marie Cusak, Steph De Lander, Jamie Hayter, Winona Makanji, Gisele Mayordo, “Rhio” Rhianna McDonnell, Kaydell Joyce, Jade Noble, Emma O’Sullivan, Hannah Simpson, Chloe Smyth and Mercedez Blaze.

The current Sendai Girls Junior Champion Millie McKenzie was offered a WWE contract earlier this year to compete for the NXT U.K. brand but she turned that offer down. For more on that story, check out Fightful’s published article about the topic.
