Slim Jim “Macho Man” Randy Savage Figure Coming To San Diego Comic-Con
Need a little excitement?
Mattel is celebrating Randy Savage‘s time as the spokesperson for Slim Jim by releasing an exclusive figure that will be available in limited quantities at Mattel’s San Diego Comic-Con retail booth from July 17-21. Fans can pre-order the figure, which costs $29.99, through Entertainment Earth beginning on June 18.
Savage’s brother Lanny Poffo told Justin Barrasso of Sports Illustrated, “Randy loved Slim Jim and Slim Jim loved him. He believed in the product and saw this as another way to be accessible to his fans. It’s nice to know that people still remember. “Because of the WWE Network and Mattel, it’s fantastic that his memory is never going to die. Randy wasn’t special because he was chosen, he was chosen because he was special—and there will never be another.”
