Taka Michinoku To Miss Sunday’s NJPW Best of Super Juniors Event With A Leg Injury
NJPW announced that Taka Michinoku will miss Sunday’s Best of Super Juniors event due to a leg injury suffered in his bout with Shingo Takagi. You can see Taka selling the leg injury in the video above.
Taka is currently without a win in this year’s Best of Super Juniors tournament. He will forfeit Sunday’s scheduled match against IWGP Junior Heavyweight Champion Dragon Lee.
Due to an injury to his right leg, TAKA Michinoku has been ruled to be unable to compete in Sunday’s match in Chiba’s Makuhari tournament.
As a result, he will forfeit his match with Dragon Lee. The eighth match of the event will be cancelled and Dragon Lee will earn two points instead.
Night 10 of the Best of the Super Juniors will now only consist of 9 matches. Dragon Lee will also not participate.
