Casey from Squared Circle Sirens reports that Independent wrestler Karissa Rivera has been training at the WWE Performance Center this week. Rivera is a second generation wrestler who currently trains under Damien Adams.

Fans may remember Karissa from her match on the Apr. 9 SmackDown when she teamed with Kris Stadtlander (Kristen) as the Brooklyn Belles to face The IIconics. She also worked an NXT TV taping in October 2018, losing to Lacey Evans.

Rivera has made appearances for ROH and IMPACT Wrestling in recent months. She worked night four of the ROH Road to G1 Supercard tour on Mar. 31, teaming with Gabby Ortiz in a loss to Kris Stadtlander & Tasha Steelz in a triple threat tag team match that also featured Jenny Rose & Sumie Sakai. She was also part of the May IMPACT Wrestling television tapings in Philadelphia, taking part in the Knockouts Battle Royal.

SCS also reports that Rivera tried out for the upcoming WWE Superstar Search, which is being produced by Bunim-Murray.
