Mahabali Shera Confirms That He Has Signed With IMPACT Wrestling
Mahabali Shera confirms his signing.
It was first reported by Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer last month that former WWE talent Mahabali Shera signed a contract to return to IMPACT Wrestling and today via an interview with Sportskeeda, Shera confirmed that he will be returning to IMPACT and here’s what he had to say about his decision to rejoin the company:
“IMPACT Wrestling was the first company to believe in me and give me an opportunity. It’s not just a company to me. I consider IMPACT Wrestling home, and why wouldn’t you be happy when you’re going back home again?” He explained.
The 28-year old Punjab, India native joined WWE in 2018 and eventually reported to the WWE Performance Center. He was let go in the Fall of 2018 and returned to the company again earlier this year and departed from WWE once again. Mahabali shared that he has only good things to say about his experience in NXT and specifically mentioned the promo classes and added that he has never experienced anything like NXT.
“I only have good things to say about NXT.” He said. “When I was there, I was happy. But everything in life happens for a reason. There are so many experienced coaches in the Performance Center who are all ready to impart knowledge, from the ring to promo classes. I’d never experienced something like this before NXT.”
Matches have been announced for tonight’s edition of IMPACT Wrestling as the company is on the road to their next pay-per-view which is Slammiversary XVII in Dallas.
