An update on Ric Flair.
TMZ reports that Ric Flair was rushed to a hospital in Atlanta on Thursday morning after suffering a medical emergency. Specifics of the situation are currently unknown but TMZ describes the situation as “very serious.”
However, Flair’s son-in-law Conrad Thompson stated on a media call that Flair’s condition is “not as grave or serious” as TMZ reports. Thompson said the procedure was planned and that Flair elected to have the procedure prior to traveling to Las Vegas next week for Starrcast II.

Ryan Satin of Pro Wrestling Sheet reports that Flair has been dealing with heart issues as of late and his trip to the hospital was in relation to that. Satin reports that Flair’s condition is “more serious than Thompson is letting on” and that this wasn’t a planned procedure.
Flair is scheduled to be part of Starrcast II where “The Roast of Ric Flair” is one of the headlining attractions for the event.
Ric Flair’s wife Wendy Barlow issued the following statement to TMZ concerning Ric Flair’s health status:
“Due to ongoing health complications, Ric was taken to the hospital and is expected to undergo a procedure tomorrow morning, after which he expects to fully recovery.”
Flair had a medical scare in 2017 when his intestine ruptured, putting him in a medically induced coma for 11 days. Fortunately, Flair pulled through and was able to recover. He was last seen on WWE television at WrestleMania 35, helping Triple H defeat Batista.
