Report: Two Bouts Added To UFC Fight Night Minneapolis, Sergio Pettis In Action

A pair of bouts have been added to UFC Fight Night Minneapolis according to MMA Fighting as Sergio Pettis faces Ricardo Ramos and Jared Gordon faces Dan Moret.

Pettis (17-5-0) enters the contest while in the midst of a two fight losing streak, dropping bouts to the duo of Jussier Formiga and Rob Font. Pettis has competed as a flyweight and bantamweight in the UFC, earning an overall record of 8-5-0 in the promotion.

Ramos (12-2-0) has won three of four under the UFC banner, but he hasn’t picked up a victory since August of 2018. Ramos has seen three of his professional MMA bouts go the distance and the fighter won all of those encounters.

Gordon (14-3-0) will come into the bout while in the midst of a two fight losing streak, dropping bouts to the duo of Carlos Diego Ferreira and Joaquim Silva. Ramos is a former Cage Fury Fighting Championship and Duelo De Giagantes Lightweight Champion, but gave up both belts before signing with the UFC.

Moret (13-5-0) also comes into the contest riding a two bout losing streak, dropping fights to Gilbert Burns and Alex White. Moret has picked up thirteen wins as a professional MMA fighter and more than half of them have come by way of submission.

UFC Fight Night Minneapolis takes place on Saturday, June 29 from the Target Center in Minneapolis, Minnesota with Tyron Woodley and Robbie Lawler headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which airs live on ESPN.
