Report: TJ Dillashaw Loses Sponsorship Deal With Monster Energy
It would appear that the suspension and the relinquishing of the bantamweight title weren’t the end of the troubles for Dillashaw, as the fighter has apparently lost a sponsorship deal with Monster Energy.
Ariel Helwani of ESPN would tweet the following about the situation:
Monster Energy has parted ways with TJ Dillashaw, according to Monster’s Hans Molenkamp. The company signed him to a promotional deal in Dec. 2018. Dillashaw, the former UFC bantamweight champion, is currently serving a two-year suspension after he tested positive for EPO in Jan.

There has been no official statement from either Dillashaw or Monster Energy on the end of the agreement between the two. It is also unknown at this time as to whether or not the decision made by Monster Energy to drop Dillashaw had anything to do with the failed drug test and subsequent suspension.
This is a big hit for the former UFC Bantamweight Champion, as he is also excluded from receiving any compensation from the UFC until his suspension ends in January of 2021.
