Ring of Honor Wrestling Television Results for 4/26/19 Episode #397 The Briscoes vs Team CMLL
The Briscoes are in action and Silas Young squares off with Jonathan Gresham on this week’s episode of Ring of Honor Wrestling television!
-The New ROH World champion Matt Taven comes out to the ring to start the show and talks about winning the belt at the G1 Supercard before he’s interrupted by Flip Gordon who declares himself as the next number one contender.
Silas Young vs Jonathan Gresham
Silas and Jon shake hands, Jon catching a kick by Silas before taking him down to the mat with a side headlock before Silas gets to his feet and drops Jon with a shoulder block. They go back and forth until they exchange several pin attempts and Jon hits a DDT, but Silas rolls out of the ring before he can go for the cover. Silas then puts a chair and the hammer that goes with the ring bell in the ring before hitting Jon with the hammer when the referee is busy getting the chair out of the ring. The referee then calls for the bell when Silas locks in an abdominal stretch on an unconscious Jon for the win.
Winner:Silas Young defeats Jonathan Gresham via referee stoppage.
The Briscoes vs Caristico & Soberano Jr.
Soberano and Mark get things started by exchanging wrist, waist and head locks until Mark hits a snapmare and Caristico hits a diving cross body for a two count. Soberano hits a diving cross body for a two count that Jay breaks up before Jay sends Caristico out of the ring, Caristico pulling Jay out of the ring and chopping him at ringside. Jay sends Caristico head first into a chair at ringside and Soberano counters a neckbreaker back in the ring before Jay hits a DVD for a near fall.
Jay ducks a clothesline and superkicks Caristico before Mark sends him out of the ring and The Briscoes hit the Redneck Boogie on Soberano for a near fall. Jay then hits Soberano with the Jay Driller before Mark hits the Froggy-Bow for the pin and the win.
Winner: The Briscoes defeat Soberano Jr. and Caristico via pinfall when Jay pins Soberano after Mark hits him with the Froggy-Bow.
