Seth Rollins Is Open To Defending The WWE Universal Championship Against Brock Lesnar
Rollins wouldn’t mind slaying “The Beast” again.
It was at WrestleMania 35 when Seth Rollins took the reigns of Monday Night RAW from the clutches of “The Beast Incarnate” Brock Lesnar. It has been three weeks since Seth Rollins became Universal Champion and his next test comes in the form of former two-time WWE Champion AJ Styles. Rematch clauses in the realm of WWE are no longer in effect but Rollins would not mind taking on Brock Lesnar again and giving him another shot at the title.
Seth said that he is willing to take on anyone and regardless of whether it’d be storyline or in reality, just because you defeat someone once does not mean that it will happen again.
“I’d be up to the task. The thing is I’m down for a challenge because if you’re a champion that kind of rests on his laurels and says, ‘I don’t know, I already beat that guy, he’s not worthy’ then I think that’s not the kind of champion I want to be. I want to be a champion that will define the title and I want to take on all challengers. While Brock Lesnar is living and breathing he is most certainly a capable challenger for the Universal Championship. I beat him once so I’m not afraid [of] giving it another shot. I would definitely be open to giving him a rematch even though I do know what’s at stake if he were to beat me.” Rollins said during an interview with ‘Express’.
While mentioning WrestleMania 35, there is a two hour review of the show up on the Fightful Pro Wrestling YouTube channel.
