Chris Jericho Says AEW Will Announce The Television Network For Their Weekly Show “Very Soon”

Chris Jericho claims that the announcement is coming soon.

All Elite Wrestling is on the road to their first show under the company banner entitled ‘Double Or Nothing’ which takes place on May 25th at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. Following that event is the ‘Fyter Fest’ show which will be presented by CEO Gaming along with AEW which leads to ‘Fight For The Fallen’ in Jacksonville in July. It has been stated by AEW commentator Jim Ross and former IWGP Intercontinental Champion Chris Jericho that the company will begin their weekly television show in October.

Multiple television networks have been thrown into the conversation regarding which station AEW will reside on. Tony Khan who is the President of AEW has made it clear that there are offers are the table and thinks wrestling fans will be pleased with the decision that will be made about the AEW’s future home. Chris Jericho shared that the announcement will be made “very soon” when speaking with ‘Cheddar’ to promote All Elite Wrestling and below is the direct quote from Y2J:

“May 25th is the first show at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. We sold it out in four minutes, 12,000 tickets. So there’s a lot of buzz about AEW, and in the Fall, we’re gonna be starting our weekly television on a huge cable company that we’re gonna be announcing very soon so, it’s not a competition, it’s just an alternative and it’s something that I think people and wrestling fans are waiting for because it’s been a long time with just the WWE, just one company.” Jericho said.

Fightful will have a presence at AEW’s ‘Double Or Nothing’ and to check out the match card for the event, head over to Fightful’s “events” page.
