Dave Schilling Leaves WWE Creative Team

One day you’re in. And the next, you’re out.

Two months after joining the WWE creative team, Dave Schilling is already out. PWInsider reports that Schilling has left WWE creative. No reason was given for his departure.

On Feb. 24, Schilling took to social media to announce he would be joining WWE creative.  Schilling formerly wrote for Bleacher Report, The Guardian, Grantland and VICE.

Schilling confirmed his departure on social media with a series of tweets, including jokes about not knowing what “wrestling,” a banned term in WWE, is.

Schilling’s departure is another in a long line of backstage moves in recent months. Yesterday it was reported that Dean Malenko quit the company after an eight-year run as a backstage producer.
