Report: Wilker Barros Replaces Jon Durrant At Bellator MMA Europe 2

Raymond Daniels has a new opponent for Bellator MMA Europe 2 according to MMA Fighting because Wilker Barros is replacing an injured Jon Durrant at the event.

Daniels (0-1-0) is returning to MMA competition for the first time in over a decade, with that last bout coming against Jeremiah Metcalf at Strikeforce: Melendez vs. Thomson. Daniels has had a much better career as a professional kickboxer and is the current Bellator Kickboxing Welterweight Champion. Daniels holds an overall record of 35-3-0 as a professional kickboxer and has held twenty-plus championships during his career.

Barros (0-0-0) is not only going to be making his Bellator MMA debut in this bout, but will also be making his professional MMA debut as well. Barros, much like Daniels, has also had a much better career as a professional kickboxer, holding an overall record of 17-5-2. Barros has yet to compete in Bellator Kickboxing, but has previously competed in such promotions as Glory.

Bellator MMA Europe 2 takes place on Saturday, May 4 from the Resorts World Arena in Birmingham, England with Brent Primus and Tim Wilde headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which is going to be streaming live on the Bellator app.
