Kofi Kingston: The Usos Have Been Instrumental In Our Happiness On The Roster

Kofi Kingston doesn’t want The Usos leaving SmackDown.

The WWE Superstar Shake-Up brings fear among most in the WWE locker room as no one knows where they will end up. On Sunday, Fightful Select reported, “Every wrestler we’ve spoke to so far hasn’t been given any information on whether or not they’re switching brands.” In past Superstar Shake-Ups or drafts, wrestlers have said that they didn’t know they were switching brands until the last minute or when they saw their name appear on the screen.

Speaking to For The Win, WWE Champion Kofi Kingston discussed the Superstar Shake-Up and revealed two guys he doesn’t want to lose in the SmackDown locker room.

“It gets hard because you form some really good bonds. For us, the Usos have been instrumental in our happiness on the roster. Every time we come it’s always jokes and laughs and whatnot, and I know if we were to be in separate locker rooms, their presence would be definitely missed,” said Kingston. “I think it’s hard when you form such tight bonds with people, and that SmackDown locker room is real tight. We’ll see, but there’s a lot of people on the red side we’re cool with too, and you just kind of let it be what it is.”

The Usos and New Day rivalry is well-documented on television while their friendship is well-documented on UpUpDownDown.

Matt Hardy is another name who doesn’t want to see The Usos leave the brand, but his reasoning is different. You can view Hardy’s comments by clicking here.

Fightful will have live coverage of both nights of the Superstar Shake-Up beginning at 8 p.m. ET.
