CIMA Signs Full-Time Deal With AEW

CIMA is All Elite.

On the latest episode of Being The Elite, The Young Bucks (Matt & Nick Jackson) officially announced that CIMA has signed a full-time contract with AEW. CIMA is the company president of Oriental Wrestling Entertainment, a promotion that has a partnership with AEW, and is scheduled to appear at AEW Double or Nothing, teaming with two members of the OWE roster to take on SoCal Uncensored.

The Young Bucks put CIMA over big prior to making the announcement, saying that their 2009 bout against CIMA & Susumu Yokosuka at DGUSA Open The Historic Gate was the match that “put them on the map.” The duo thanked CIMA for giving them that stage in Dragon Gate USA.

The 41-year-old CIMA debuted in 1997 and has made his home in Dragon Gate for the majority of his career. He has appeared in promotions such as Ring of Honor and PWG as well. He wrestled a handful of matches for WCW in 1998 under the name Shiima Nobunaga and also wrestled a dark match for WWE in 2009.
