Report: Charlotte, Ric Flair Lawsuit Officially Settled

Charlotte and Ric are in the clear.

The lawsuit involving two-time WWE Hall Of Famer Ric Flair, former 9-time WWE Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair, WWE, author Brian Shields and Riki Paul Johnson has been settled, per PWInsider. The site noted that the attorney of Charlotte’s ex-husband Riki Paul Johnson filed a Notice Of Settlement on April 4th which was to inform the court that all parties involved have come to a settlement in regards to the lawsuit he filed last year. Johnson requested to dismiss the lawsuit with prejudice which will no longer allow him to bring further legal action against the opposing party.

In Charlotte and Ric Flair‘s book, “Second Nature: The Legacy of Ric Flair and The Rise Of Charlotte” that was put together by Brian Shields, Charlotte opened up about her past relations with Johnson and reflected on turning down a D1 scholarship to play Volleyball for Johnson and here’s an excerpt from the book of Charlotte recalling Johnson getting physical with her:

Riki started swinging at me like we were in a street fight. Over his screams, I could hear his fists hit my arms. I managed to block most of the punches, but one shot got me in the ribs. I began to gasp for air, but he didn’t stop […] Riki punched me right in the head. …I think about that girl now, and it brings tears to my eyes. How did I get there? Why was this going on? Why wasn’t I strong enough, brave enough, to end this?”

The case has come to a close and Charlotte Flair now has her sights set on what brand she’ll be a part of as the 2019 WWE Superstar Shake-Up kicks off tomorrow night on RAW.
