Roman Reigns Defeats Drew McIntyre At WrestleMania 35; Wins First Singles Match Since October
The Big Dog is officially back.
It’s been an emotional six months for Roman Reigns, but he was back at home at WrestleMania 35, defeating Drew McIntyre in his first singles match since October. Reigns scored the victory with a Spear.
On Oct. 22, Reigns announced he would need to step away from WWE as his leukemia had returned. For four months, Reigns battled the disease, knocking it into remission and returning on Feb. 25.
Reigns has only wrestled once since announcing his return, taking part in a six-man tag team match at Fastlane. WrestleMania 35 marked his first singles match since he defeated Dolph Ziggler on Oct. 1, 2018.
