Drew McIntyre Believes WWE Is Showing Faith In Him By Pairing Him With Roman Reigns At WrestleMania
Drew is amped for WrestleMania!
The WrestleMania 35 match card currently sits at fourteen bouts and one of the matches that was recently added to the card was Drew McIntyre versus Roman Reigns. This bout will Roman’s first big singles match since he returned to WWE after his battle with Leukemia. Tonight is the final stop for a number of stars on the RAW roster before their respective matches at WrestleMania and Drew McIntyre is one of many looking to make a statement on tonight’s show.
RAW is emanating form the Capitol One Arena in Washington D.C. and McIntyre guest appeared on ABC 7 WJLA to promote the show. During the conversation, McIntyre expressed that he feels WWE is showing faith in him by having him paired with Roman Reigns at the company’s biggest show of the year.
“It’s wild. I’ve been back on Monday Night RAW for ten months now and fighting Roman Reigns, the number one guy, returning from his illness in his first big singles match at WrestleMania. It’s pretty incredible. It’s a great opportunity — a show of faith by the company in my ability now and I’m very, very excited to give the world a performance they won’t forget.” He said.
