Report: Warlley Alves Faces Sergio Moraes At UFC 237

A welterweight division attraction has been added to UFC 237 according to MMA Fighting as Warlley Alves is going to be in action against Sergio Moraes.

Alves (12-3-0) has won two of his last three bouts under the UFC banner, with those wins coming over the duo of Salim Touahri and Sultan Aliev. Alves has suffered three losses as a professional MMA fighter and all of those losses came in UFC competition. Alves is also going to be back in action for the first time in almost a year, as his last bout took place at UFC Fight Night Lincoln in August of 2018.

Moraes (14-4-1) has also won two of his last three in the UFC, with those wins coming against Tim Means and Ben Saunders. Moraes is competing on a pay-per-view card for the first time in three years, with his last such appearance coming at UFC 198 in May of 2016. Moraes has suffered four losses as a professional MMA fighter, but none of those defeats came by way of submission.

UFC 237 takes place on Saturday, May 11 from the Arena Da Baixada in Curitiba, Brazil with Rose Namajunas and Jessica Andrade headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, with a post-show podcast to follow.
