Two Title Fights & TUF Alumni Headlining Cage Warriors: Unplugged
The first ever Cage Warriors: Unplugged will be taking place this coming November and a pair of title fights will be headlining the card.
The Cage Warriors Featherweight Title will be defended as Paddy Pimblett (12-1-0) defends against TUF 22 alumni and UFC veteran Julian Erosa (16-3-0). Also, the Cage Warriors Lightweight Title will be defended as champion Chris Fishgold (15-1-1) defends the gold against TUF 16 alumni Nic Herron-Webb.
Pimblett will be making the first defense of his championship, which he won by defeating Johnny Frachey at CWFC 78. Pimblett is currently riding an eight fight winning streak and he has not suffered a defeat in well over three years.
Erosa won one of two fights under the UFC banner, defeating Marcin Wrzosek and suffering a defeat to Teruto Ishiihara. Erosa is a former Cage Sport Featherweight Champion, he defended the belt one time before dropping it in December 2012.
Fishgold will be making the first defense of his championship, which he won by defeating Jason Ponet at Cage Warriors 78. Fishgold already holds a win over a TUF 16 alumni, as he defeated Marcin Wrzosek at Cage Warriors 57 in July 2013.
Herron-Webb did compete on the UFC Ultimate Fighter 16, but he never did compete officially in a UFC bout after the show ended. Herron-Webb also competed once in the World Series Of Fighting, dropping a bout to Ozzy Dugulubgov at the WSOF 26.
Cage Warriors: Unplugged takes place on Saturday, November 12th from the BT Sports Studio in London, England with Paddy Pimblett and Julian Erosa headlining.
