USADA Statement On TJ Dillashaw’s Drug Test

It was announced earlier today by TJ Dillashaw that he would relinquish the UFC Bantamweight Title after adverse findings were discovered in the fighter’s drug test that was in line with UFC Fight Night Brooklyn.

The New York State Athletic Commission (NYSAC) has already suspended Dillashaw a year for the drug test mishap and now the United States Anti-Doping Agency (USADA) has issued a statement.

That statement by USADA was issued via Twitter:

 

Even though a statement was issued by the drug testing agency, no suspension or fine was announced at this time and it is unknown when that announcement could some.

Also, no announcement has been made by the UFC at this time as to what will happen with the bantamweight title that was relinquished by Dillashaw.

There has been no comment by the UFC at this time in regards to Dillashaw’s failed drug test.
