Bare Knuckle FC recently made headlines when they signed retired boxing great Paulie Malignaggi to a multi-fight deal.
However, an even bigger signing could be coming the promotion’s way as a report from Michael Benson of Talk Sport states that Bare Knuckle FC could be making a huge offer to former two division UFC champion Conor McGregor.
Benson, who apparently spoke with Malignaggi, revealed the news via Twitter:
—- Told by Paulie Malignaggi that the BKFC are preparing a mega money offer to Conor McGregor for a bare-knuckle boxing match with him. He insists they have more money than people think and also confirmed it’s possible he could make his June debut against Artem Lobov.

It should be noted that McGregor is still under contract to the UFC and would need permission from them to compete outside of the UFC, much like what happened when he fought Floyd Mayweather in what was dubbed “The Money Fight.”
Malignaggi and McGregor have been at each other ever since McGregor started training for The Money Fight. The rivalry started between the two when McGregor posted images of himself allegedly dropping Malignaggi during a sparring session.
The retired boxer is expected to make his Bare Knuckle FC debut this June against Artem Lobov, who is a training partner of McGregor.
There has been no comment from McGregor or the UFC at this time as to the apparent offer coming the fighter’s way.
