PCO And Brody King Capture ROH World Tag Titles At 17th Anniversary; Defending Titles At G1 Supercard

PCO and Brody King are headed to Madison Square Garden.

The main event of Ring Of Honor’s 17th Anniversary pay-per-view saw PCO and Brody King defeat The Briscoes for the ROH World Tag Team Championships. All four men bled during the match and took the fight to one another all around the ringside area and brought tables, chairs and kendo sticks into the fray but in the end it was the Villain Enterprises members securing the win and obtaining the gold.

With their title win, PCO and Brody King are set to defend the ROH World Tag Team Championships at G1 Supercard on April 6th against the current IWGP Tag Team Champions the Guerrillas Of Destiny in a titles versus titles match.

Tama Tonga and Tanga Loa originally issued the challenge to The Briscoes for G1 Supercard but that challenge is now being carried through by PCO and Brody King. Here’s an updated look at the match card for New Japan Pro Wrestling and Ring Of Honor’s G1 Supercard joint-event:

IWGP Heavyweight Championship
Jay White (c) vs. New Japan Cup Winner

ROH World Championship
Jay Lethal (c) and/or Matt Taven vs. Marty Scurll

Titles vs. Titles Match
Guerrillas Of Destiny (IWGP Tag Team Champions) vs. PCO & Brody King (ROH World Tag Team Champions)

IWGP Junior Heavyweight Championship – Three Way Match
Taiji Ishimori (c) vs. Bandido vs. Dragon Lee

Honor Rumble
Participants TBA

The ROH World Title picture for G1 Supercard became foggy because of Jay Lethal and Matt Taven’s 60-minute time limit draw at 17th Anniversary and for more on that story, click here.
