Report: Two Bouts Added To Bellator 218, Gerald Harris In Action
A pair of bouts have been added to Bellator 218 according to MMA Fighting as Anatoly Tokov faces Gerald Harris and Vladimir Tokov faces Ryan Walker.
Tokov (27-2-0) is undefeated under the Bellator MMA banner, defeating the trio of Alexander Shlemenko, Vladimir Filipovic and Francisco France. Tokov is a former Absolute Championship Berkut Middleweight Champion, defeating Arbi Argujev at ACB 38 to claim the gold.
Harris (25-7-2) is currently winless in Bellator MMA competition, having dropped fights to the duo of Rafael Lovato Jr. and Yaroslav Amosov, while fighting Hracho Darpinyan to a majority draw. Harris also won three of four fights in the UFC, but was cut after a loss to Maiquel Falcao at UFC 123.
Tokov (3-0-0) is going to be making his Bellator MMA debut in this bout and does so with an undefeated streak that has lasted over two years. Tokov is also returning to action after a year-plus layoff, as his last professional MMA bout happened in July of 2017.
Walker (7-4-0) is winless thus far in Bellator MMA, having dropped a bout to Steve Kozola via first round TKO at Bellator 202. Walker has picked up seven wins as a professional MMA fighter, but he has yet to earn a victory by way of KO/TKO.
Bellator 218 takes place on Friday, March 22 from the Winstar World Resort & Casino in Thackerville, Oklahoma with Emmanuel Sanchez and Georgi Karakhanyan headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which airs live on the Paramount Network.
