Stephen Amell Clarifies Tweet About Batista vs. Triple H, Doesn’t Want Batista To Kill Him
Stephen Amell sets the record straight.
Yesterday, the “Arrow” star sent out a tweet that said, “Just landed and found out about @DaveBautista v @TripleH — Really pumped for the match but also don’t want to see a celebrity angle detract from an awesome wrestling card.”
Many took the tweet as Amell making fun of himself as he famously appeared at WWE SummerSlam 2015 and All In this past September. However, Batista missed the joke, replying, “Considering that celebrity could actually fuck someone up, and that celebrity is a former 6x heavyweight champ, and that celebrity is there because he loves it, maybe it just adds to the card. Maybe.”
Not wanting to get fucked up by the “Guardians of the Galaxy” star, Amell clarified his initial tweet.
Hey Dave — I went out of my way to introduce myself to you in Atlanta at a convention so I could tell you what a big fan of yours I am. You couldn’t have been more pleasant. My tweet was meant to poke fun at me. It clearly wasn’t funny. Please don’t kill me. https://t.co/eCrMVdCi27

Batista has yet to respond to Amell’s clarification.
Batista had a starring role in “Guardians of the Independent Scene” this past Monday on Raw. You can view the partial cast list for his latest film here.
