Derek Chisora, David Allen Have Fights For April 20 Matchroom Boxing Card
Derek Chisora is heading to the O2 Arena for his next fight.
Matchroom Boxing announced a card at the O2 Arena on April 20 with Chisora facing off against twice-beaten Senad Gashi. Also on the card is the heavyweight grudge match between David Allen and Lucas Browne, which was previously confirmed to take place sometime in April.

The card that was announced is slightly different from the card that Hearn had hoped to put out on April 20. Hearn initially wanted to have Dillian Whyte headline the card and have Chisora face off against Joseph Parker as well as Carlos Takam take on Michael Hunter.
Three title fights were also announced for the card. The first one being Josh Kelly defending his WBA International welterweight title against Przemyslaw Runowski. Kelly is defending his WBA title for the second time since winning the belt back in March 2018 with a unanimous decision win over Carlos Molina. Runowski is undefeated as a pro boxer and previously held the WBC Youth Intercontinental junior welterweight title.
WBA Continental welterweight titleholder Conor Benn is also slated to fight on the card against an opponent to be determined at a later date. Benn would be making his first title defense since defeating Cedrick Peynaud to win the vacant belt back in July 2018.
Lastly, Joe Cordina will face off against Andy Townend for the British lightweight title. Cordina has won all eight of his pro bouts while Townend, a former English super featherweight champion, has won his last six fights since losing to Martin Joseph Ward in September 2016.
