Oney Lorcan & Cedric Alexander Advance In 205 Live Tournament; Semifinals Begin Next Week
The semifinals are set.
On tonight’s episode of 205 Live, Cedric Alexander and Oney Lorcan advanced to the semifinals of the Cruiserweight Title Number One Contender’s Tournament. Alexander defeated Akira Tozawa in the main event while Lorcan knocked off Humberto Carrillo earlier in the night.

Last week, Tony Nese defeated Kalisto to advance in the tournament while Drew Gulak got the better of The Brian Kendrick. The semifinals are set to kick off next week. Here is a look at the updated bracket.

The winner of the tournament will go on to challenge Buddy Murphy for the Cruiserweight Title at WrestleMania 35. Murphy is currently on a “well-deserved vacation” from the brand, taking time off in his hometown of Melbourne, Australia.
