Ryusuke Taguchi Replacing David Finlay In New Japan Cup Tournament

“The Coach” is subbing in.

New Japan Pro Wrestling announced over their official website that filling in for the injured David Finlay in the 2019 New Japan Cup tournament will be former two-time IWGP Junior Heavyweight Champion Ryusuke Taguchi.

David Finlay announced last month that he dislocated his shoulder during the ‘Honor Rising’ tour and it was later confirmed by New Japan that Finlay was being pulled from the tourney. Taguchi will now be going one-on-one with Hiroyoshi Tenzan on March 10th in Hyogo, Japan and below is the updated lineup for the opening stages of the New Japan Cup:
