Ronda Rousey Is Hopeful That She And Natalya Can Challenge For The WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles

Ronda Rousey wants to be in the running to win the WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles.

This upcoming Sunday at WWE’s ‘Elimination Chamber’ pay-per-view, Sonya Deville and Mandy Rose, Sasha Banks and Bayley, Naomi and Carmella, Tamina and Nia Jax, Liv Morgan and Sarah Logan and the IIconics will be locked inside the Elimination Chamber structure until one team is left and that team will be crowned the WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions.

There are a few other teams on the RAW brand that are not included in the match such as Alexa Bliss and Mickie James, Alicia Fox and Nikki Cross, and Natalya and the current RAW Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey. Ronda recently spoke about not being in the running to win the Women’s Tag Titles when she did her post-RAW Q&A on her YouTube channel and shared that she is hopeful that she and Nattie can one day challenge for the Women’s Tag Team Championships.

“Well, I’m disappointed that me and Nattie aren’t even in the running for the tag titles… at the moment. I understand. It’s a lot going on right now, but I understand there’s a lot of other teams that are much more established than ours. We’re the [newer] tag team. She’s still teaching me how to do stuff when we’re out there. If you notice, she talks to me, she teaches me how to do what we’re doing. Anytime it’s a tag team thing, she’s gotta show me how to do it. I don’t know what I’m doing.” Ronda laughed. “There’s like a part of me — the competitor [that’s like], ‘I want it all. I wanna do [as] best as possible. I want to do everything.’ But there are so many women in this company that have been doing so much extraordinary work for so many years and really deserve a shot at those titles to be the first-evers, and I would be very honored to be, if not the first challengers they have with Nattie, then later down the line, hopefully we can be champions at some point. That would be really, really cool.”

Ronda Rousey has a busy few months ahead of her as she also has her sights set on headlining WrestleMania 35 but in her way of doing so is Riott Squad leader Ruby Riott who Ronda will be defending her title against at ‘Elimination Chamber’.
