AJ Styles Shuts Down Rumor That He Has Re-Signed With WWE
AJ Styles cracked down on the rumors.
It was reported here on Fightful in November of 2018 that former two-time WWE Champion AJ Styles was negotiating with WWE to come to terms on a new deal which included a lighter schedule for him. Styles’ contract with WWE expires this upcoming April and over the past few days rumors have began to make the rounds that “The Phenomenal One” has re-signed with WWE. AJ caught wind of one of the reports on Twitter and decided to comment on it:
What was that? Are you sure? Please let me know the more because I know nothing about this. — https://t.co/912V4k44uy

Throughout his three years in the WWE, AJ has held the WWE Championship and United States Championship on two separate occasions each. AJ is slated to compete at the February 17th ‘Elimination Chamber’ pay-per-view inside the Elimination Chamber for the WWE Championship.
AJ has made it clear that he has yet to re-sign with WWE and to stay up to date with the contracts of talents, commentators and/or producers from around the wrestling world, head over to Fightful’s ‘Wrestling Contract Expiration Dates’ article.
As mentioned, Styles is competing in the WWE Championship Elimination Chamber match and to check out the updated match card for the ‘Elimination Chamber’ PPV, click here.
