Kevin Owens Jokingly Claims That He’s Not Returning To WWE Until He Organizes Furniture In His House
Kevin Owens notes that he’s not coming back until he takes care of business.
This past December, vignettes began to air for the return of Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn to WWE. Former WWE Universal Champion Kevin Owens took to social media recently and noted that he got into a ring and wrestled former NXT North American Champion Adam Cole but followed that tweet up by telling fans to not get excited because he is not returning to the sports-entertainment company until he finishes organizing furniture in his house and that takes him a while to do.
I just wrestled @AdamColePro for the first time in 4 and a half years. There was exactly one spectator.
He gave it 51.25 stars. —-

I appreciate people getting excited after my tweet earlier today but I’m beginning to put some furniture together in my house just now and I’m not coming back to @WWE until I’m done with that and I suck at it so I’ll see you all in a few months, maybe more.
Thank you. Take care!

Kevin Owens’ running mate Sami Zayn has been out of action since the summer of 2018 after undergoing double shoulder surgery and while guest appearing on Chris Jericho’s ‘Talk Is Jericho’ podcast, Zayn stated that he is enjoying his time off. Owens underwent double knee surgery in October of 2018 and it was reported that WWE was hopeful that K.O. would be good to go by this month or next month.
On the day that Kevin Owens’ vignette aired, it was noted within our Fightful Select service that he was way closer to returning than anyone expected. For more exclusive notes as such, check out the Fightful Select service by clicking here.
