Report: Niko Price Faces Tim Means At UFC Fight Night Wichita
A welterweight division attraction has been added to UFC Fight Night Wichita according to ESPN (via Farah Hannoun) as Niko Price is going to be in action against Tim Means.
Price (12-2-0-1NC) has won two of his last three bouts under the UFC banner, with those wins coming over the duo of George Sullivan and Randy Brown. Price has competed a total of seven times in the UFC and none of those fights went past the second round. Price has picked up eight wins as a professional MMA fighter and eight of them have come by way of KO/TKO.
Means (28-10-1-1NC) has won just two of his last five in UFC competition, with those victories coming against Alex Garcia and Ricky Rainey. Means is competing on a “Fight Night” card for the first time in over a year and he hasn’t picked up a win on a “Fight Night” card in almost two years. Means has seen ten of his professional MMA bouts go the distance, with the fighter winning five and losing five of those encounters.
UFC Fight Night Wichita takes place on Saturday, March 9 from the Intrust Bank Arena in Wichita, Kansas with Derrick Lewis and Junior Dos Santos headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which streams live on ESPN+.
