ROH Announcer Ian Riccaboni Signs Multi-Year Deal With Company
Ian Riccaboni will be sticking around ROH for the foreseeable future.
Riccaboni announced on social media that he has re-signed with the company and will be part of the broadcast team at ROH-NJPW G1 Supercard in April. According to Sean Radican of the PW Torch, both AEW and WWE had interest in signing him but he opted to stay with ROH. Riccaboni signed a new deal with ROH in April 2018 and reportedly had an opt-out clause that would have allowed him to negotiate with other companies. ROH was reportedly aggressive in locking him up so he didn’t opt out.
.@ringofhonor means the world to me; the wrestlers, the crew, and the fans. We’re a family.
I approached our office and producers about staying. They shared the same sentiment.
I am excited to announce that I signed a mult-year deal to stay with ROH. Happy wrestling, indeed!
