Johnny Gargano Ends Ricochet’s Reign As NXT North American Champion At NXT TakeOver: Phoenix
Johnny has finally won the big one.
We now have a new NXT North American Champion in the WWE and that man is former NXT Tag Team Champion Johnny Gargano. Gargano clashed with Ricochet at NXT TakeOver: Phoenix and after all of the back and forth between the two men over the past number of weeks on NXT TV, it all came to a head in Phoenix.

Gargano has been hell bent on trying to prove that he can get it done when it matters on his own without the help of NXT Champion Tommaso Ciampa.
