Daniel Cormier Not Happy With NFC Championship Game Result
The Los Angeles Rams defeated the New Orleans Saints in overtime by the score of 23-20 to win the NFC Championship and advance to the Super Bowl on February 3.
Controversy reared its ugly head in the game when a Rams defender illegally hit a Saints wide receiver, but no pass interference or other penalty was called against the Rams.
UFC Heavyweight Champion Daniel Cormier checked out the game and wasn’t happy about what went down, which the fighter expressed in a series of tweets:
It was easily the most horrible call I’ve ever seen jacks https://t.co/AVrYeZl8Pg

That was a real bad pass interference

The NFL is rigged, two large market teams. They have strategically placed Boston vs Los Angeles in the super bowl! I guess New Orleans vs Kansas City doesn’t sound as sexy

I’m so salty right now!!! — https://t.co/owFX4rT7Z2

They line up in neutral zone every down, they just called it that play https://t.co/0aNGDkvTjQ

It should be noted the the NFL did apologize to the Saints after the game, but it did very little to help the team after their controversial loss to the Rams.
