Report: WWE Contract Offer To Young Bucks Allowed Them To Leave If Unhappy With Push

New details on WWE’s contract offer to the Young Bucks.

According to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer, WWE made big concessions in their contract offer to Matt and Nick Jackson. Meltzer reports that WWE offered the Bucks a three-year deal, which included a six-month window where they could have left if they were unhappy with their push. Furthermore, WWE reportedly had plans to turn Being The Elite into a weekly television show on the WWE Network.

Meltzer reports that the Bucks were offered “roughly the same money as AJ Styles.”

The Bucks reportedly talked to Triple H for “roughly 12 hours” and praised him for how he handled negotiations. Triple H reportedly saw the humor in the BTE skits that featured Frankie Kazarian dressing as Triple H and playing the character “H.”

The Bucks publicly turned down WWE’s offer on the Dec. 17 episode of Being The Elite when they delivered a double superkick to “H.”

Instead of signing with WWE, the Bucks and Cody helped launch All Elite Wrestling. You can get more information on All Elite Wrestling here.
