Cezar Ferreira Replaces Alessio Di Chirico At UFC Fight Night London
Alessio Di Chirico revealed a short time back that medical issues would force him out of UFC Fight Night London, but the UFC has revealed that Cezar Ferreira will step in and fight Tom Breese on short notice.
Breese (11-1-0) has won four of five under the UFC banner, with those wins coming over Luiz Dutra Jr., Cathal Pendred, Keita Nakamura and Daniel Kelly. Breese has suffered just a single loss as a professional MMA fighter and that came against Sean Strickland at UFC 199. Breese has earned eleven wins as a professional MMA fighter and six of them came by way of submission.
Ferreira (13-7-0) has won two of his last three under the UFC banner, having defeated the duo of Nate Marquardt and Karl Roberson. Ferreira has suffered seven losses as a professional MMA fighter, but he has yet to be beaten by way of submission. Ferreira has suffered five losses in the UFC, with three coming by KO/TKO and two coming by way of decision.
UFC Fight Night London takes place on Saturday, March 16 from the 02 Arena in London, England with no main event announced at this time. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which streams live on ESPN+.
