Joshi Veteran Misaki Ohata Wins ‘Regina Di WAVE’ Championship In Her Retirement Match
The perfect ending to a tenured career.
Pro Wrestling WAVE ran a show entitled ‘Phase 1 Final’ at Korakuen Hall in Tokyo, Japan yesterday and on top of all the action that occurred during the show, former JWP Junior Champion Misaki Ohata officially retired from the sport of professional wrestling. Ohata began training to become a wrestler in 2006 and wrapped it up after twelve years in the business. In her final match Misaki went one-on-one with the woman who she captured the ‘International Ribbon’ Tag Team Championships with, Ryo Mizunami and their singles match was for the ‘Regina Di WAVE’ Championship. Misaki picked up the victory and put the stamp on her in-ring career with a championship win and right after winning the title she vacated it and received a streamer shower from the fans in attendance.
