Matt Hardy Feels That WWE Should Build Around Seth Rollins, Talks Brock Lesnar Being A Tough Opponent

Matt Hardy does a rapid fire Q&A.

The WWE Universe is patiently awaiting the return of the 21-time Tag Team Champion Matt Hardy as he has not competed in the ring since September of this year when WWE was wrapping up their live event loop heading into the ‘Hell In A Cell’ pay-per-view. Hardy did show face at WWE Live Events in the months following September and had a WWE Network special air during his time away and recently Hardy was in India doing PR work for WWE and while he was there he spoke with a number of outlets including ‘SPN Action’.

Hardy did a quick Q&A with the outlet and one of the first questions he was asked was who was the toughest opponent that he’s ever been in the ring with and Hardy named-dropped the current WWE Universal Champion Brock Lesnar.

“The toughest opponent that I’ve faced in WWE and I’ve faced him many, many times, was Brock Lesnar. When they said Brock Lesnar is like, a beast, he’s truly a beast.” Hardy expressed. “There is times where I questioned if he was human. He’s the toughest guy I’ve ever been in the ring with.”

Hardy then went on the talk about some of the more promising stars currently in WWE and he did not hesitate in saying that the company should build around “The Architect” Seth Rollins and added that Rollins should be the nucleus of the company.

“There are a lot of talents that are extremely impressive. Currently right now, the guy that… he’s already a big star but I’m impressed with Seth Rollins.” Hardy said. “I think Seth Rollins is the guy that should be the nucleus of the WWE right now and they should build around him. I think Seth Rollins is the guy right now.”

Hardy’s former tag team partner Bray Wyatt has been sending out some odd messages on Twitter since his return to the ring at Starrcade. Head over to Fightful’s published article about Wyatt’s cryptic tweets for more.
