David Arquette Announced For NWA Pop Up Event; Responds To Fan Backlash
David Arquette took to social media to hit back at fans who are upset with his upcoming appearance at the NWA pop up event.
On Monday evening, the National Wrestling Alliance announced that Arquette will be part of their Jan. 5 New Years Clash event. The announcement was met with backlash from some fans who believe there are more deserving talent and that Arquette still gives wrestling a bad name due to his WCW World Title run in 2000.
Arquette shot back at critics, defending his hard work since making his comeback.

It’s unknown who Arquette will face at the event. He last wrestled at House of Hardcore on Dec. 8, teaming with RJ City to defeat Robert Strauss & Tyrus. Prior to that, he made headlines for his Deathmatch bout against Nick Gage at Joey Janela’s LA Confidential.
NWA New Years Clash is the organizations first-ever pop up event. The event is scheduled to be headlined by Nick Aldis vs. James Storm for the NWA World Title.
